184th Relief Society Anniversary

Image
On this sacred Testimony Sunday, the sisters of the Mabolo Ward Relief Society humbly share our united witness of our Savior, Jesus Christ. We testify that He lives. He is the source of light in our lives, the One who understands every sorrow, every quiet prayer, and every hope we hold in our hearts. In moments of difficulty, when burdens feel heavy and answers seem far away, we have felt His loving presence. Through prayer, scripture study, and simple acts of faith, He has filled our souls with peace that surpasses understanding. As Relief Society sisters, we have come to know that we are never alone. In our gatherings, in our service, and in our daily lives, we feel the Savior’s love reflected through one another. Attend Temple , Self Reliance and Fun day

Image
The Relief Society of our ward recently organized a fun-filled activity that combined spiritual growth, self-reliance, and enjoyable recreation. The event, attended by sisters from our ward, began with a visit to the temple. In the temple, we participated in a session of temple ordinances, which served as a powerful reminder of our covenants and commitments to our Heavenly Father. The spiritual experience was uplifting and set the tone for the rest of the day. Following the temple visit, we gathered for a self-reliance workshop. The sisters learned various skills, such as budgeting, meal planning, and time management. The workshop aimed to empower us to become more self-sufficient and confident in our daily lives. The highlight of the day was the fun day activity, which showcased the sisters' talents. We enjoyed an entertaining program of singing and dancing, featuring a variety of musical numbers and energetic dance performances. To add some excitement to the event, we also had a ...

Family bonds are also strengthened by family stories, creating family traditions, and sharing sacred experiences. President Spencer W. Kimball reminded us that “stories of inspiration from our own lives and those of our forebears … are powerful teaching tools.” They are often the best sources of inspiration for us and our posterity." Pres. Dallin H. Oaks
